Solving my princess dress problem
I know I'm not the only one who has ever said "why doesn't that come in adult sizes" in reference to a pretty pink tulle dress for a toddler. The issue here is two-fold: that tiny toddler dress, when sized up, will look ridiculous on a grown up; and pink just isn't for everyone. Thank the fashion fairies for Molly Goddard and Louiza Babouryan.
Brit designer Molly Goddard is currently crushing the tulle game with her OTT abundance of ruffles, ribbon details and delicious color combos in her SS20 line. I have never wanted more pieces from a single collection.
New to my radar is Louiza Babouryan. I was introduced to her work at Sonia Boyajian's holiday pop up market and fell hard for two dresses... one of which now lives in my closet. Louiza also has the ethereal vibe on lock. Her FW19 collection integrated wisps of loose knit cashmere and the odd feather on a few pieces.
